living in a jar, think the lid's the sky

stones in your eyes
Stones in your eyes, stones in your eyes,
Stones in your eyes, stones in your mouth,
Stones in your ears, stones in your mind,
Stones in your eyes, stones in your eyes.
living in a jar, think the lid's the sky
Living in a jar, think the lids the sky,
You're hoping for a savior on your cross outside.
Stars are just a million little fireflies,
The sun is just the whole world and the light outside.
so can I tie my key to this electric kite
Maybe I should rest but on the seventh day,
I've created nothing and I'm wide awake,
So can I tie my key to your electric kite?
The rooster crowed twice and you kissed me good night.
everyone's an oyster with their grain of sand
There's too many saviours on my cross again,
I know I'm never going to be a perfect man.
Everyone's an oyster with their grain of sand,
I love you most and some, now it has to end.

Hi guys! Sorry it has been so long since I last posted, I've been stupid busy over the easter break from uni and the past couple of weeks with deadlines and exams. I've had some exciting emails recently, including some giveaways and competitions that I can't wait to share with you, but for now I thought I'd leave you with something I wouldn't usually post on here. This is my photography project that I submitted today. I stupidly leave all my assignments to the last minute so this was a mad 24hour dash with far too many hours sleep in between. I based the photographs on a song by Brand New called 'In a Jar' and Plato's Allegory of the Cave. I'm happy with how it turned out but I definitely want to do some more with it. Anyway, hope you like it and I'll be back soon :)

  4. Love the Plato influence. Before even him, in Athens they'd leave the city at night time and go to the hills, drink wine and try and reach a state of spiritual ecstasy, as close to the truths of the universe as possible. I always thought it would be a great inspiration for a photo shoot. Maybe you could make that come true some day...
